Deanna & Miss Leah

I have known Deanna for 40 years. We were inseparable besties until I moved in 1989. Later Deanna moved to another state and had her only child, Leah. Leah is now a beautiful 17 year old child with a great big future of hopes and dreams. At the age of 14 (11/10/15) Leah was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. This is a lung disorder characterized by high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries. Leah has since had a port put in to receive her meds. She has been in and out of the hospital and seen many specialists. She is currently in the pediatric ICU in Spokane WA.  due to an infection and will remain there for a couple of weeks. Her lungs are terribly compromised and will not get better without a transplant. She is waiting to see if she will be accepted to have a lung transplant. This is something that must absolutely happen soon because right now her future is grim. 
Her mom Deanna has been by Leah’s side and is completely heartbroken. If you can help her financially in anyway possible, it will be appreciated very much. No amount is too small.
