Our dear sister, Dawn Carpenter, was victim of a near fatal motorcycle accident. She, her husband & 11yo son could use our support as they strive through recovery.

On 3/15/26, Dawn was involved in head-on collision pulling out of her driveway on a motorcycle. Plowed by an SUV, @50mph she was medi-flighted to Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto.

Dawn sustained life threatening injuries, including: an open compound femur fracture; an open radial fracture, w/displaced wrist/hand; a laceration of the liver and an aortic tear causing internal bleeding. She has a non-displaced C2 neck fracture, but thankfully no further injuries to the spine. Dawn has been in/out of surgical ICU at the hospital. After multiple surgeries, Dawn’s physical maladies are stable, but these are the initial stages in a long road to recovery.

Amidst ongoing trauma, her husband Kristoffer and son Micah have had their lives displaced as they stay by Dawns side through her recovery.

I have offered my time to help Dawn and her family through this difficult time, and we have collectively acknowledged that we need financial support to achieve full healing for Dawn and her family.

We set a GoFundMe goal for $5,000 to help cover costs incurred and loss of income. We put our hearts on our sleeves to ask you for your support with this goal. We truly appreciate all the love, prayer and support received.

Dawn is a strong willed, determined, and incredibly kind woman who puts others first. She has consistently gone out of her way to help others within her church, local community, and college.

In fact, Dawn is in the last semester of her academic journey to become a clinical counselor in our community. She has a strong desire to continue helping others through a mind, body, and spiritual approach. It would do us well to come together and assist Dawn through this challenging time.
