Please help David L Baugher

Hello everyone, my name is Sterenda Baugher and I am making this Gofundme in the hopes of raising money for my good friend, David Baugher.

This man is wonderful. He is in his 70 's now and was happily married to his wife for 50 plus years. He worked as a repair tech for the original government computers that filled rooms and helped land a man on the moon.  He then moved to warehouse labor as well as sharing loads of t-shirts to repair with his wife at workshops that paid pennies for work so that the two of them could provide for their children, one of whom is my girlfriend. Now that he is retired he works harder than ever by rebuilding motors and cranks for antique two-stroke SAAB's

I could gush and ramble for days about his life but I will try to keep it condensed.

His wife had a stroke so he was forced to retire from his  job early so that he could care for her full time, he refused to put her in a hospital as it terrified her so for many years so instead he fed her, washed her, dealt with her diapers as the state of her body worsened. She had another massive stroke and passed last year in her sleep.

During this time he also found out he had severe prostate cancer so not only was he caring for her he was getting weekly treatments even though his levels were so high the doctors were baffled how he was walking around. The cancer was beaten as much as one can really beat cancer, it went into remission.  After his wife died they found out the cancer had spread to his hip and spine. Now not only did he lose his wife's income to support himself he also could not handle the strain to lift and carry full engines. The new medication they have him on, Zytiga should cure him in about two years in conjunction with Lupron shots and they have him on another injection, Xgeva, for his bones. The monthly cost of Zytiga is around $500 a month he is able to afford it but it basically wipes out his monthly income.

I want to do something for a man who has supported me, his kids, our kids, his friends and and anyone else who needed him. He has rarely ever had a bad word to say about anyone. I'm really hoping this can help things.
