Anyone who knows our family, knows we're blessed. We're a little crazy but fun loving and very close ...You may also know we've struggled hard and felt the devastation's of the dreaded “C” word. The debilitating, often fatal shit called cancer and dear god, here we go again.
We believe in the power of prayers and we all know there’s strength in numbers. Will you please join us in the collaborated fight once again
Our beloved sister Darlene is in for the fight of her life!
In 2018 Dar was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer, her particular mass was tucked away and when several attempts to even touch it failed, (maybe a blessing) for almost two years it played nice, (even shrunk some). Dar took no traditional medicines or treatments and choose to follow the miracles of cannabis oils...RSO (research it it'll blow your mind). RSO is amazing but expensive so when the tumor shrunk so did the RSO use. Mistake??? Yeah maybe. Either way, We're here now and after countless tests etc the cancer is back. It’s bigger and spread to stage 3 (oh no) So… here goes the fight. 6-7 weeks of intense radiation and chemo therapy.
Dar lives a beautiful quiet life off the beaten path, there’s no cell phones, no traffic, no chaos, no towns or cities close by its heavenly.
The treatment will be in Kingston almost 3 hours from home, 5 days a week for at least 6 weeks. Obviously daily travel isn’t an option and staying in the hospital during a pandemic would cut Dar off from the much needed strength and support of her family, its been decided to stay in a hotel in Kingston close to the Hospital.
This is where your help is appreciated. Obviously this is an expensive option (though clearly the right one) we are hoping to raise the funds for her lodging, special diet and travel to and from etc..
