Please Help Cyprus Cats Find Health, Homes & Love!

Please help me help Cyprus kittens and strays!

My family and I are an Army family currently living in Nicosia, Cyprus. We have been caring for the neighborhood strays-- about a dozen cats-- feeding them, getting them fixed/neutered, and dealing with other medical emergencies (like a crushed jaw and eye surgery, etc).

Along the way, we have been trying to help other kittens we happen upon.

My daughter recently found a litter of blind kittens on a running trail, which led to finding another litter of blind kittens.

The first two we brought home have been named Samson and Delilah, and they are little dream kittens of snuggles and love.

We met the lovely man, Ridi, who has been trying to feed this colony of cats on the running trail.

There are so many cats, you won't believe the photos. Please help me try to help get these cats fixed/neutered before they have more sick kittens who have more sick kittens.

The blind kittens (a total of NINE now!) are currently in every spare bathroom and room in my house (some in isolation to make sure they can't get other kittens-- or my own cats-- sick). The first batch of five has been a great success! We saved them just in time! One will need future surgery to remove an eye too long gone, but he is the most beautiful, sweetest boy, and has some vision in the other eye. We are praying he improves even more.

The most recent batch of four kittens-- saved today-- are still in great danger.

My hope is to help trap, neuter, and release the cats Ridi has so wonderfully cared for.

And I'd like to continue neutering the cats in my neighborhood-- some are also in very rough physical shape, with skin issues and other illnesses.

This might seem like a big project, but the smallest donation will make a huge difference to the lives of these helpless babies. Every penny I raise here will go to cats in need.

Last year, friends were so supportive and helped me with the cats in my neighborhood. I am hoping we can make a difference like that again. We have only one more year here in Cyprus, and I am dedicated to doing as much as possible here while I can.
