Please help Cynthia Parker, lifelong educator

Please donate to our Go Fund Me Account for our friend and lifelong public educator, Cynthia Corn Parker.

This account will help pay medical expenses and physical therapy services for Cynthia.
This account is being established by Ms. Kathy Wood, Ms. Pat Clark, Ms. Mary Daniel, and Ms. Peggy Moree Smith. These 4 ladies, along with Ms. Cynthia Corn Parker, are the 5 Founders of the Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA).

In December 2021, Cynthia suffered a debilitating stroke that affected her left side and requires extensive physical therapy and 24 hours assisted care. As Cynthia continues to work hard towards her recovery, the medical bills have grown. Your donation will directly facilitate her ongoing recovery efforts.

In the state of Texas, since the late 1960s, if you are a Dance Educator, or are associated with Dance/Drill Teams in any way,
Be It Through:
  • current or former Dance/Directors
  • current or former Dance/Drill Team Members
  • current or former Dance/Drill Team businesses, camps, contests or organizations
  • even present or former parents of Dance/Drill Team Members
I suggest that your Dance/Drill Team experience has been touched in some way because of the lifework and dedication of Ms. Cynthia Parker.

Cynthia’s Philosophy:
Cynthia says: “I have had a very simple mindset all of my life: One needs to commit, to dedicate, to elevate, and to stay passionate about what one loves and what one does. My Daddy always told me to do what I do because I love it, not because of how it will look to others, and that love of what I do, will always make a difference in someone’s life”.

Has Cynthia touched your life in some way?
Please help us help Cynthia as she works hard to recover.
