UPDATE:
CT Scan shows no new change this morning. He is moving his arms and opening his eyes. He is back to where we were at yesterday morning prior to the surgery.
Hello, my name is Lori. I am starting this for my sister Sandy Collins' son, my nephew Curt Collins, from Wellington, Kentucky (Menifee County). On Saturday afternoon, he and his friends were out riding 4-wheelers, in the holler where he lives, in a blind spot area where the trees and a boulder block the view of cars coming from both directions. He was on his way home, and was hit head-on by an SUV. His friend was thrown over the top of the vehicle, broke his leg, and has other injuries I'm not aware of. Curt is in critical condition. He has 2 brain bleeds, multiple fractures in his face, and his leg is broken in multiple locations. He is intubated and has had an ICP device drilled into his skull to monitor the swelling on his brain. He needs to have surgery, but his blood pressure is too unstable to operate. We are mainly asking for prayers for him. And if you have it in your heart to donate, it would be greatly appreciated, as he is fighting for his life! He is also the only provider for his little family of 3. He has a very young daughter and fiancée at home waiting for him to come home. Once his surgery is complete, he will have to go to a rehabilitation facility. All proceeds will be used to help cover his medical expenses, and to help support his little family!
