Hi, my name is Crystal, and I never imagined I would be in the position of asking for help. Over the past year, my health has taken a dramatic turn, and I’ve been fighting every day to get through it. I miss being the caregiver in healthcare and helping others however I can. I really do no like being the patient!

I live with multiple chronic illnesses, including Ankylosing Spondylitis, Hypophosphatasia, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Barrett’s Esophagus, Lymphocytic Colitis, and most recently, severe complications from endometriosis (after a hysterectomy 11 years ago) that has caused adhesions on my bowel. Since November 2024, my health has declined significantly—I’ve had hospitalization, surgery, recurrent shingles, multiple ER visits, and I’m now waiting on consultations with Endometriosis Specialists and surgeons that may lead to multiple surgeries, possibly even with a temporary or permanent ileostomy or colostomy.

Because of these conditions and side effects from medications, I have been unable to work and have been fighting for disability benefits. Unfortunately, that process is long and uncertain, and right now I’m facing the reality of trying to keep up with my everyday living expenses without an income.

I’m humbly asking for help to cover basic living costs—rent, car, utilities, food, and insurance—while I continue with medical care and fight for disability support. Every dollar helps me stay stable and focus on healing instead of the stress of losing my home or not being able to cover essentials.
