Baby Edda’s Medical & Funeral Services

Hello, my name is Liz and a beautiful friend of mine, Noël Ruth, gave birth to an angelic daughter named Edda Taber on December 5th.

Just hours later, Edda’s soul left her body on December 6th.

Noël and her partner Graham have been dreaming of their child’s arrival, only to be shattered by her sudden death.

I am humbly asking you to please donate, share and pray for Noël, Graham and their angel, Edda.

All donations will go towards funeral services, hospital bills, and lost wages in this harrowing time.

Please donate if you can. This would mean the world to Noël and Graham.

Below is a loving message from Noël:

“Edda was my purest dream. A soft babe with ocean eyes made through true love, carried in peace, and birthed naturally in the trust of what my body was created to do. The joy of her earthside visit is an undying rose rooted in my spirit. We celebrate.

Graham and I do not believe the world owed us her continued life, but we prayed for it, and promised God that we would center our everything around caring for it. She lived for less than a day.

I have lived close enough to the fringes of this world, its ecstasies and its despairs, to understand that Nature is both eternally giving and ruthlessly taking. That is why it was easy for me to say, “if she wants to go, let her go” when it was clear that her vast Soul did not want to stay in her tiny body.

But what is not easy is accepting the absence of her now, as my life continues with a body that aches and swells and cries out for a part of me that is not here. It is a hellish nightmare to both sleep and be awake. It is staggering to realize that despite feeling one million miles away from the rest of the world in our dimly lit cave of grief, Graham and I are responsible for pending hospital bills and funeral service bills on top of our current expenses and our need for additional mental and physical health care.

Edda made me a Mother; the wildest expression of love, now circulating in my veins. My prayer is that both myself and Graham can remain softened and expanded by this love, and not become calloused because of the demands of this world during our most vulnerable time. If you could please help lift the weight of this world just enough so that we can spend more time savoring the beauty of her and the gifts and lessons she gave and less time agonizing over money, that would be the most helpful support we could receive right now.

One day we will blaze fires and raise sails in her name. But for now, we dissolve into the wisdom of grief made possible by immense love. For now, we rest in our faith that keeps whispering - "even here, you are not forsaken"

In Gratitude, Noël Ruth”
