Hi, my name is Darcy Remm, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.

Recently, my twin sister's dog, Copper, was hit by a car in a tragic accident. Miraculously, he survived, but his injuries are extensive. Copper is currently fighting through severe wounds that require urgent and specialized care from multiple veterinary surgeons.

They have already rushed him to an emergency vet, where they stabilized Copper and began preliminary treatment. However, the road to recovery is going to be long and expensive. The veterinarians estimate that the total cost—including surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and rehabilitation—could exceed $10k

We never imagined we'd be in this situation, but we are doing everything we can to give Copper the fighting chance he deserves. He means the world to my sister's family—a loyal, loving companion who has filled their lives with joy every day for the last 9 years.
