Please help Connie's family in this devastating time.

On Wednesday, December 18th, our family suffered an unimaginable loss. My amazing mother, Connie M. Wood, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. She was a mere 8 days from her birthday.

Connie spent a lifetime dedicated to those around her, be it family or work, more often than not sacrificing her own needs for others. She gave herself fully to her decades of factory work, and then even in retirement, she continued to work until her body finally forced her to stop.

It was at that time I took on the role of taking care of her, becoming her caregiver.

Connie was steadfast in her ways and was always witty and ready with a quip, until we were blindsided by a sudden drop in her overall health, a shocking 3 days before she left us.

Unfortunately, as we attempt to navigate through the confusion and haze of what's to come, we are realizing Connie did not have the proper arrangements in place or insurance to help in the costs of her passing.

We know that given the time of year, it may be difficult, but if you could find it in your heart to help as we navigate this time with donations or sharing, it would be greatly appreciated.

The goal is to help cover the costs associated with her final arrangements, and if there is anything extra, it will go to helping to assist the family, as well as take care of Connie's remaining affairs.
