Please Help Concetto Campisi With His Recovery

Hello everyone,

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the Campisi family following a serious collision, involving my brother-in-law, Concetto.

In the early morning of November 13, Concetto sustained serious injuries from an impact with a tractor. The driver of the tractor chose to flee the scene rather than remain with him and provide any immediate life saving measures or call for medical assistance.

Fortunately, responders arrived shortly and transported him in grave condition to Umberto l Hospital in Siracusa, via ambulance. Upon arrival, doctors placed him in a medically induced coma. Concetto remains in a coma in the intensive care unit , intubated as he struggles to breathe on his own. He has several fractured ribs, severe damage to his lungs, a broken arm and has recently developed pneumonia. Due to strict hospital policy, only one family member is permitted to see him, per day, for no longer than five minutes.

Sadly, Concetto has no parents, partner or children to turn to for financial support. He also has no disability or sickness insurance, hence the fundraising effort. The funds collected will help ease his burden in the face of a possibly long road to recovery, without a working income. Money will be directed towards living expenses, legal expenses and any other out-of-pocket medical and rehabilitation fees that he may incur as a result of the trauma.
