Hi! My name is Savannah and I’m making this GoFundMe on behalf of my wonderful friend/coworker Marisa for her dog, Colby. Colby has been in respiratory distress meaning he has been putting in a lot of effort to simply breathe for a few weeks. Marisa brought him into work to be seen here and was given antibiotics and steroids. These did not help and he ended up coming back today. Colby was sedated and upon intubation to check his airway, a large mass was noted. Marisa is a nervous wreck as he means everything to her. The mass is obstructing his airway, his only way to breathe is being blocked.

She spends every day of her life devoted to him and to helping everyone’s pet as a veterinary assistant. She is such a kind-hearted, loving soul. Colby is the best boy! He is only 5 years old! So young. He needs to have emergency surgery done to remove this. The cost estimate she is looking at is $6,500. No one has this kind of money sitting around.
