So I have been a little hesitant and reluctant to say that over the Christmas break I got sick, like, really sick. After weeks of tests and scans and getting prodded and poked with needles and IV’s, I have been diagnosed with stage 2 stomach cancer for which I have started radiation therapy to see if it will go into remission. IT’S EXPENSIVE YALL!! Our healthcare system is a joke.

Stage 2 cancer means that there are large tumors that have grown significantly into the surrounding tissues. This is not advanced or metastatic cancer, but it is serious and I need help. My total copay for a first round of treatments is $3,250. I am trying to raise that amount plus $1,650 for appointment fees, medications, and other expenses.
