Please Help Chris, brother, son, father, friend

Good morning all,

My name is Aja and I am reaching out to you all today with a heavy heart and asking for your help.

Last week, my brother, Chris, only 38 years old, was diagnosed with a rare condition called Transverse Myelitis.

This is an inflammation of the spinal cord. This neurological disorder often damages the insulating material covering nerve cell fibers (myelin). It interrupts the messages that the spinal cord nerves send throughout the body. It has caused Chris to lose the ability to walk, work, or perform day-to-day activities at this time.

This rare condition requires many different treatment approaches and unfortunately Chris is uninsured right now and unable to work or provide for himself and his family.

For anyone that knows Chris, he is the father of two young children and it is killing him that he cannot be the father he once was during this difficult time.

If anyone can please donate anything to help with the initial costs of medical expenses, recovery efforts, and to help his children it would be appreciated more than you can imagine.
