Update- So Chip has suspected IVDD intervertebral disc disease and a pinched nerve. He has no strength whatsoever in his left leg. Right now he's been put on two more medications. Please Help Chip...

Chip is going to the vet tomorrow morning for X-rays, blood work, and whatever else may be needed to find out what's wrong. We're hoping to get our little "Energizer Bunny" back to his happy, active self.

My name is Diane, and I am a friend of Rob's. Rob has been Chip's loving owner and companion for the past 6 years. Chip is now 8 years old and has always been our little "Energizer Bunny"—full of life, always running, playing, and bringing smiles to everyone around him.

About a month ago, Chip began having difficulty walking. After a visit to the vet, he was diagnosed with arthritis in his lower spine and started on anti-inflammatory medication. At first, he seemed to improve, but over the past week his condition has worsened. His left leg is now giving out on him, and he struggles with things that once came easily.

Tomorrow, Chip will be back at the vet for X-rays, blood work, and any additional testing needed to determine what is causing these new problems. We are hoping for answers and a treatment plan that will help him feel like himself again.

Rob is on Persons with Disabilities assistance, and the cost of ongoing veterinary care is overwhelming. We are asking for help with Chip's medical expenses. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated and will go directly toward his care.
