Please help Chemotherapy cost to save Bruno

Hello my name is Taylor Bryan and for those who know me know my French Bulldog Bruno is a huge part of my life. I welcomed him into my life when he was just a tiny nugget 8-week-old puppy, almost 9 years ago. Bruno has brought me so much happiness and the most precious moments of my life. Our bond is truly special he has showered me with unconditional love, affection, and countless moments of happiness. Bruno is my best friend my whole heart. It hurts my heart to even write this. I am crushed. My sweet boy doesn’t deserve any of this. I feel robbed.

Suddenly on the night of 9/3 before bed I noticed Bruno was breathing fast and showing signs of discomfort. I knew something was wrong and thought maybe he had gotten into something he shouldn’t have. We rushed him to the VERG emergency hospital where he was admitted to the ICU due to his increased breathing rate and poor pulse quality. An ultrasound was performed which revealed a large volume of fluid in the sac around his heart and a mass on the right side of the heart. Due to his critical status he was emergently tapped to withdraw the fluid from his pericardial sac. Bruno unfortunately reacummalated fluid relatively quickly and was tapped a second time. They told me Bruno had a mass near his heart.

The doctors advised me that chemotherapy offers his best shot at survival, despite its high cost. He deserves this treatment and much more. I want to so badly taking him on many more walks and camping trips, sharing countless kisses and cuddles. Any donations would be truly valued and greatly appreciated. Please consider sharing this with your loved ones. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this far.

With love,
Taylor Bryan & Bruno xoxo

UPDATE 12/01: Today, Bruno had his check-up. The VERG team took bloodwork and performed all the necessary tests to assess Bruno’s response to medication and chemotherapy. We are overjoyed to share the wonderful news that there hasn’t been any fluid buildup in his pericardial sacs, and all his levels are excellent. He has successfully completed his 5th chemotherapy session! We feel truly blessed and are grateful for all your prayers and support. Our next chemotherapy appointment is scheduled for December 22nd. Again any contributions are greatly appreciated and will be used for his chemotherapy and medications!

UPDATE 9/5: Today we visited an oncologist for Bruno's first chemotherapy session which is scheduled every 3 weeks. We are pleased that the initial session went smoothly, but there are more sessions ahead. Any contribution towards his chemotherapy expenses is sincerely appreciated and will be used directly for his treatment. A heartfelt thank you to those who have donated and shared our story; we are truly grateful.
