Please Help Cheb Live.. She wants to be given a chance.

URGENT!!

Hi, I'm Katrina. I'm starting this GoFundMe because we need help.

Let me tell you about Cheb. We bottle-fed her and took care of her since she was born. In my eyes, we gave birth to her. She cried at night for milk, needed to be held like a baby, and we saw her take her first steps. She is absolutely my daughter. She used to sleep in the kids' room, and I remember them always fooling around in their room. Then I would open the door to tell them to knock it off, and they ALL, even Cheb, would just give me this look of innocence. She is one of my kids.

This week, Cheb had an infection that needed surgery. The doctor also convinced us to do a liver biopsy due to her high liver values. Despite my constant concern of possible bleeding, the doctor was insistent that it should be performed. I work as a surgical technologist, so I know know the risk we run into when we deal with these specific organs. My worst fears has now become a reality. She has been transferred to another specialty hospital for post-op complications. This cost has already maxed out all our credit cards. We have pet insurance, but it only covers a max of 7k. We have already paid another 8k for the new hospital stay for 3 days. And now they want to do a surgery to fix the bleed that they think they see that the other surgeon did. It's life-threatening, they say, and has to be done. They are asking for another 18k for the surgery.

We honestly don't know what to do. She is lively and is fighting. I can't in good faith end her life for mistakes that she had no part in. This is disgusting how we are put in these situations to end a life because there is no money for it.

We are not a family that's ever asked for financial help, but these costs to save a family member's life are absolutely putting our family into a tough spot.

I'm asking for the community to come together and help one another in a bad situation. We can only help eachother because no one else will.

Please help my daughter survive this horrible disaster. My kids and I are asking for help to keep our family together.
