Please help Chandler Horizon Rotary help them!

The Chandler Horizon Rotary Club, founded in 1987, meets weekly in downtown Chandler, AZ. Over the years, we have supported numerous charities and initiatives. Currently, we help fund the Dictionary Project, which provides hundreds of free, age-appropriate dictionaries to 3rd graders in Chandler Public Schools. Additionally, we offer three $1,000 high school scholarships and four $500 junior college scholarships.
At present, our budget is fully allocated, but we have identified two urgent needs requiring immediate support. The first is a special backpack project for children with special needs. These children require more than just standard school supplies; they may need adaptive scissors, therapy brushes, auditory feedback phones, and other specialized items. We have secured a $1,000 matching grant from Rotary District 5495 for this project, and we are seeking $1,000 to meet the grant and fulfill this need.
The second urgent need is on the other side of the world in western Uganda, where approximately 45% of child deaths in rural areas are due to malnutrition. We will collaborate with the Precious Kids Foundation (preciouskidsfoundation.org) to identify and support the children in need. Rotary District 5495 has granted us $2,500 for this cause, provided we can raise $1,200.
We are seeking a total of $2,200 in donations to address these critical needs. Your generosity will make a significant impact on the lives of these children. Thank you for your support.
