Please Help Carlton Abrams

Hi. My name is Mike Griffin. I am starting this fundraiser to try and help Uncle Carlton Abrams.

On Feb 19 he suffered a stroke at home. He was found by Kara Griffin and was rushed to Upstate where he underwent emergency mechanical intervention. They successfully removed clot from brain. He was in Neuro Critical ICU for 9 days. Unfortunately it has affected his right side. As of now he has no use of right arm but is progressing slowly with right leg.

He was transferred to Waterville Residential Care for rehabilitation on March 1. He continues to work hard at regaining strength and mobility.

This fundraiser will be used to help cover additional medical cost and needed repairs to his home for once he's released.

We all know Carlton as a very resilient and self sufficient man. But I am hoping with some kindness and help we can get him set up to be able to come home. He has a new way of life he is going to have to adapt to. All funds will be used directly to assist him in his journey to recovery. Home repairs to safely navigate and medical expenses.
