Please help Carlos & Chelly

Hi, we are Chelly and Carlos a couple from Florida devastated emotionally, medically and financially due to severe illness. Carlos suddenly became sick with infection in the blood that went to the heart (infectious endocarditis) which caused 11 hemorrhagic emboli (strokes) in one day about 2 years ago. Chelly, wife and full time caregiver was suddenly diagnosed with cancer last year. Neither of them has been able to work again and expenses and bills have been piling up. They have mounting medical expenses and future needs. They hope the community  can help with any size donations. Carlos is 6 feet tall and before getting sick he weighed 225 pounds…he currently weighs approximately 103 pounds and has become extremely malnourished, frail and weak…He has now been diagnosed with severe cachexia and gastroparesis as an apparent complication of the strokes…. causing malnutrition and fatal weight loss. Carlos has also suffered damage to areas of his brain. That caused constant nausea, dizziness, and loss of appetite. There could be treatments and medicines that may help Carlos but are not covered… by insurance or Medicare.

  

The photos of Carlos are of him approximately a year before his illness in approximately 2020 to 2021 and a photo taken within the past week. He remains in the highest spirits and continues to fight to try to survive.

Documentation of his many medical  issues and conditions that pose an immediate threat to his survival are available upon request to bonafide donors. These include reports of  CT scans, MRI, labs, etc…,

Hola, somos Chelly y Carlos una pareja de Florida devastada emocional, médica y financieramente debido a una enfermedad grave. Carlos repentinamente enfermó con una infección en la sangre que iba al corazón (endocarditis infecciosa) que le provocó 11 embolias hemorrágicas (accidentes cerebrovasculares) en un día hace aproximadamente 2 años. A Chelly, esposa y cuidadora de tiempo completo, le diagnosticaron cáncer repentinamente el año pasado. Ninguno de los dos ha podido volver a trabajar y los gastos y las facturas se han ido acumulando. Tienen crecientes gastos médicos y necesidades futuras. Esperan que la comunidad pueda ayudar con donaciones de cualquier tamaño. Carlos mide 6 pies de altura y antes de enfermarse pesaba 225 libras…actualmente pesa aproximadamente 103 libras y se ha vuelto extremadamente desnutrido, frágil y débil…Ahora le han diagnosticado caquexia severa y gastroparesia como una aparente complicación de los derrames cerebrales…. causando desnutrición y pérdida de peso fatal. Carlos también ha sufrido daños en áreas de su cerebro. Eso le provocó constantes náuseas, mareos y pérdida de apetito. Podría haber tratamientos y medicamentos que puedan ayudar a Carlos pero que no estén cubiertos… por el seguro o Medicare. Las fotos de Carlos son de él aproximadamente un año antes de su enfermedad y aproximadamente de 2020 a 2021 y una foto tomada la semana pasada. Se mantiene de muy buen humor y sigue luchando para intentar sobrevivir. La documentación de sus numerosos problemas y afecciones médicas que representan una amenaza inmediata para su supervivencia está disponible a pedido para los donantes de buena fe. Estos incluyen informes de tomografías computarizadas, resonancias magnéticas, laboratorios, etc…, Bien, durante la enfermedad y las luchas de Carlos, a Chelly le diagnosticaron un cáncer que requirió cirugía y extirpación de todo su sistema reproductivo. Así como también radioterapia. Sus registros médicos, exploraciones, etc., informe quirúrgico, etc., también se pueden proporcionar a pedido de cualquier donante verificado.
