Lets help Cara Bonnell (Piket) come home!

Dear friends, family, and the Dickens community,

After four long and challenging months in the hospital, our friend and neighbour Cara Bonnell (nee Piket) is finally getting ready to come home. Earlier this year she was diagnosed with cancer and, soon after, suffered a stroke that left her unable to move one side of her body. While fighting cancer, she has also been courageously working through rehabilitation and has been slowly regaining strength and independence.

She is so excited to be coming home, but the house is not currently equipped to meet her needs. The family is doing everything they can, but they need help to make their home safe, accessible, and ready for ongoing care.
