Please Help Candi Beat Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Dorothy Miller and I’m fundraising for my friend Candi Deitz who is battling Breast Cancer. Please consider helping her and her family fight this horrific disease. In October of 2022 Candi felt a large mass in her right breast, she thought she felt something is September but her life got crazy and she thought it went away. Unfortunately that did not happened, she went in the doctor which sent her for a priority mammogram and ultrasound which lead to her biopsy on November 3. November 7 she received the phone no one what’s to hear especially over the phone. You have Breast Cancer - Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, She went for two opinions here locally and out Philadelphia which lead to her decision and doctors of her choosing.

On January 3, 2023 she had her Lumpectomy which lead to a partial mastectomy due to the size and location of the tumor at surgery. On Jan 26 she get back in for surgery to her port put in for Chemotherapy.

March 3, 2023 she began treatment which is includes Round 1 which is 4 course of Cyclophosphamide and Doxorubicin (Red Devil) given every two weeks followed by 12 weeks of Taxol.

In July she will have another MRI of both breast (as she are unfortunately having issues with the right as well) to make sure that we are on the right course for the next steps. Which is Radiation that will be given every day for five days with a minimum of four weeks (this may change slightly if the MRI comes back with anything.

Unfortunately Candi was hoping to work the entire time but due to how sick she is getting from Chemotherapy she had to take some time off work.
