Cameron, 19, and Emmory, 18, woke up on April 23, 2025 like any other day. Cam got up, put his leathers on, kissed Em goodbye and got on his motorcycle, to head to work. Little did they know, life as they knew it would forever be altered. Around 8am and a half a block from work, Cameron was struck by a car driven by someone who didn’t stop to look for oncoming traffic. In a careless instant, his entire world changed. His left leg look the bulk of the impact and as a result, sustained far too much damage to be repaired. One simple mistake, changed his life forever. The next few months are going to be excruciating. Not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Cam’s work as a mechanic was solely supporting their family and now, bills are starting to mount. It will be at least 4-6 months before he will be recovered enough to return to work, however, they still need to survive in the meantime. As Cam’s primary caregiver right now, working for Em is next to impossible.
