Please Help Caleb Kingpavong with Medical

Please help with Caleb any way that you can, that includes thoughts and prayers as well! Caleb and his family have been a staple in the Rockford Soccer community dating back to his grandfather, father and uncle’s days with Laotown FC. 

Caleb’s condition  started in July.. but, we didn’t know what was wrong until end of august.. originally thought to have Covid.. but, condition worsened until late September into October. He gradually got worse and worse until he could don the simplest of tasks… the things we all do everyday.. get out of bed, brush your teeth, use the bathroom etc…

Has been hospitalized in Madison’s children hospital since November 19th.. gone through countless procedures to determine his condition… originally thought to have rheumatoid arthritis and hypothyroidism and possibly lupus…

After many blood work, medical procedures, muscle biopsy.. he was confirmed to have lupus by the rheumatologist and his current condition of guillan barre syndrome was confirmed just about 10 days ago… guillan barre syndrome affects either your muscles or nerves.. for some reason; Caleb has both affected… we were originally given a 2-4 week recovery period.. now; 2-6 months and possibly up to a year before he’s back to full strength… we hope it’s sooner…. He’s doing well in physical therapy right now…. There will be some home accommodations for him once he’s home… he will need a wheelchair/ walker/ a bathroom seat riser… something that’s not horribly expansive..
