Hi! My name is Amanda, and this Go Fund Me is to help my best friend in the world (and sister of my heart) Caitlin with caretaking costs for her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Drew. Caitlin is their sole caretaker, and she needs help.

Aunt Ruth and Uncle Drew are two of the most amazing folks. But unfortunately, dementia and Alzheimer's have taken their toll on two very kind people.

Ruth and Drew spent their lives looking out for and taking care of others. They have big hearts full of love and adventure. Her Uncle Drew is a veteran that served on the USS Roosevelt. He's also a HUGE Star Wars fan. Auntie Ruth loves music and traveling. She was very fond of musicals, especially Beach Blanket Babylon

Ruth never hesitated to lend her strength, time, and care for her sick twin Ann, Caitlin's mother. She and Uncle Drew have been a godsend to Caitlin and are wonderful grandparents to her kids, Xander (7) and Declan (5).

Caitlin has provided care for her Aunt and Uncle since May 2020. Sadly, she had to place Uncle Drew in a memory care facility due to dementia. In September 2021, Ruth moved into Catilin's home. Caitlin provides her aunt love and care around the clock.

Caitlin is their only support, and she needs your help. I know that not everyone can donate, but anything to help with medical bills and other caretaking expenses would be a blessing.
