Buttercup is my sweet guinea pig, and she’s been with me since she was a baby. I adopted her from Petco four years ago, and we’ve grown an incredible bond over the years. She’s now four years old and, with a little luck, will be turning five this September. Buttercup is truly my baby, and we love each other so much. It breaks my heart to see her in pain and not be able to help her the way she deserves.
Recently, I discovered a lump on Buttercup’s chest area when I was holding her. I felt it, which scared me. I tried to wait it out and hopefully save some money, but it's been a struggle to save money when it all goes to bills. Now I have just found a bigger lump on her foot. I noticed she was limping, so that is how I discovered her lump. I've been noticing how she barely wants to eat, and it makes me so upset. Now I'm powerless, I have no way of paying for her vet bills, I’m very worried about her, but I can’t afford to take her to the vet right now. The vet requires payment on the day of the visit, and unfortunately, they don’t offer payment plans. I feel so upset and helpless because I want to do everything I can for her, but I just don’t have the funds at the moment.
That’s why I’m reaching out for help. The money raised will go directly toward Buttercup’s vet bills, including her check-up and any treatment she may need. Please donate whatever you can—anything will help my guinea pig. She means the world to me, and I can’t lose her. Thank you so much for reading our story and for any support you can give.
