Please help bury an American Veteran
Donation protected
This is a picture of my cousin Roger Powers. Roger and Beth have been married for 28 years. Sadly Roger passed away in Virginia on 8-27-20 from a long term illness. He is a Viet Nam Veteran and served proudly for our country. When he got sick several years ago he lost his job as a cab driver. He loved taking people to their doctors visits and talking to everyone. He never met a stranger. This very quickly became a financial burden to the family. They lost a home they loved and raised children in. The two had to move into a one bedroom apartment with a small grandson that they are raising. Needless to say, living paycheck to paycheck was hopeful for them.
Now Roger is gone and still in the hospital morgue until some money can be raised to cremate him. This is the last thing I'm sure Roger would have ever wanted to see was a Go Fund Me Campaign, but I'm doing what I need to do. I am trying to raise $5000.00 so my cousin can be cremated and have a service. Please help me in this endeavor if you can. Any little bit will help. We have 6 days until his remains are turned over to the county. PLEASE DONT LET THAT HAPPEN!
