He currently has a blockage and will need surgery ASAP.

How I can describe Buddha is by asking you to think of that one friend, sibling, or pet in your life that grounds you more than anything. His calmness, his peace, his radiating love that can calm any hurricane life throws our way. He’s probably one of the best dogs I’ve ever met. He is sweet and loves everyone. He is so gentle.

I love watching him throw his toy in the air and play catch with himself at times. Or when you’ve had the worst day ever, and all he wants to do is lay next to you and take all your pain away.

I am the youngest out of my siblings, which makes it easier for the older ones to leave home because they know our mom still has kids at home. But for me, it was Buddha. I knew she would be okay because I knew he would take care of her, give her that unwavering amount of love, and piss her off when he wants to stay outside, lol.

My mom lost her dad (my grandpa) on New Year’s Eve. And now this.

Nine hours in the emergency vet room, and every minute felt like an eternity. I can’t even imagine how every minute will feel spent without him. He’s four, and has so much love to give and receive.
