Hi everyone, my name is Celeste, and I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sweet boy, Bruno. He’s been by my side for 11 years — more than just a pet, he’s truly my baby.
On Saturday, July 19th, Bruno suddenly became very ill. What seemed like a simple upset stomach quickly turned into something far more serious. He vomited 12 times over the weekend, but emergency vet visits were financially out of reach for my family at the time.
We finally got him into a hospital on Monday, July 21st. One vet diagnosed him with Stage 4 Kidney Disease, saying it was incurable. Wanting to give him a fighting chance, I admitted him for overnight care. But the next day, a different vet told us it looked more like acute kidney failure — which can be treatable. When I asked for clarity on the conflicting diagnoses, I got no real answers. It became clear that the team wasn’t on the same page — in a life-or-death situation for Bruno.
After two overnight stays and spending $3,500, we were sent home with medications but still no clear plan or understanding of what Bruno truly needs.
Now, I’m raising funds to take him to a third vet — one we hope will finally give us a proper diagnosis, guidance, and a real chance at recovery.
Bruno is still full of life — a big puppy at heart — and he doesn’t deserve to be in this much pain without answers. If you’re able to contribute anything, it would mean the world to us. Every dollar helps give Bruno a second chance.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
