When it rains, it pours.  This is the story of our dear friend Brook Coulter and her parents, Bob and Ginger.  Over the last few months, Bob has been battling stage 4 cancer.  In an effort to help care for her parents and ease the financial burden, the family made the decision to sell mom and dad's house and move into Brook's house in Ft. Collins, CO.  A week after moving in, Bob suffered a massive stroke.  It is a miracle that he was able to leave the hospital after a week's stay without any major loss of function, but recovering from a stroke is difficult and the road to recovery is long.  Brook and Ginger became instant full-time caregivers.  Despite some other medical issues that have popped up with Bob, things seemed to be going well and they were all feeling a little more hopeful about the future.  But today, Brook was let go from her job.  Brook is the sole provider for her and her parents.  Her employer (who knows everything that has happened to her family over the last few months) told her it was due to downsizing.  I'm reaching out to the volleyball community, the Cal Bears/Berkeley community, the Ft. Collins/Colorado State community/RAMILY and anyone else out there in hopes that we can come through for them while they are going through this tough time.  I know that Brook will find another job as she is one of the hardest workers I know, but I'm hoping we can give her and her parents a little breathing room in the meantime.  Please give what you can and help spread the word by sharing with others.  Thank you!
