Hi… my name is Brixton, aka @brixtonatlarge, a very special therapy dog. I love my job working in schools, hospitals, airports, and events in the most awe-mazing place - San Francisco, a city that I LOVE and shower the people with kisses daily.

I have spent my entire life since the age of 8 months bringing love, joy, and warm snuggly kisses to millions of people, all in the hopes of making their day just a little bit happier, especially now when life can be so challenging.

But a few months ago, my whole world turned upside down when I had a bit of a tummy ache that turned into something much more serious. After several months of intensive tests, numerous vet visits, and misdiagnoses, they finally figured out that I have IBD - Irritable Bowel Disease, which, because it was left untreated for so long, has now developed into early-stage Lymphoma.

It’s an understatement to say that it’s been a devastating development, but one that I have decided to fight and remain faithful that I will win to bring even more smiles to all the people that need it most.

Needless to say, the medical bills have been astronomically astounding and continue to be as I enter chemo and maintenance. I desperately need your help in trying to fight this difficult disease.
