VAW Dental Trip

I’m traveling to the Dominican Republic for 2 weeks this June with VAW Global Health Alliances to help provide free dental care to underserved communities. I’ll be assisting dentists with patient care, sterilization, and procedures while learning more about global health. As a Pre-Dental student at BU, I am

excited to further my understanding of community health care, equity and cultural competence. VAW Global Health Alliances partners with local professionals and community leaders to develop sustainable and equitable access to dental care.

I’m hoping to raise $3,000 to help cover the cost of the trip, supplies and my flight. Any donation (or even just sharing this!) would mean so much to me.
