Hi, my name is Lizz (Elizabeth when dad was mad) and my sister Amanda, have created this fundraiser so we can bring our dad home.

Doug Tiffin, our dad, was a long haul truck driver, he was most of his life. He drove truck for about 50 years, and had a heart of gold that helped everyone he could when he could, and even when he couldnt afford it. He even did everything he could for his kids and grandkids, and he donated to different food banks often. He has delivered different types of goods, across Canada and the US.

On Tuesday December 16th, while working, our Dad passed away in his truck, as he loved what he did, and was always working when he could, even when it took away from time with his family, that he truly loved. However, he is in Chicago, IL, and we are trying to bring him home, to bury him with his late beloved wife Marie, in Brantford, Ontario, where his plot is located. Since life is tough, we do not have the funds saved, and he didn't have any insurance, we are asking for some help to be able to bring him home, and put him to rest, as everything needs to be paid upfront before he can be released.

Every little bit helps, and we know we cant bring him home for Christmas, but the sooner we can, the better, in these tough times, which we realize, everyone struggles also.
