Please help bring my family to safety

Dear friends,

I am Mohamed from Gaza, reaching out in a time of great need for my family. We are a family of four: my wife Aya, our children Rita (6 years old), and Kenan (3 years old). Rita, our beloved daughter, is facing significant health challenges due to cerebral palsy (CP). Prior to October 7th, she was receiving the necessary medical care and treatments to support her condition.

However, the escalation of conflict forced us to flee our homes in fear for our lives. We sought refuge in the south, only to find our home completely destroyed. Now, we are without shelter, food, water, or access to medical care for Rita and ourselves. For over 200 days, we have struggled to meet even the most basic needs of survival. Rita's health has deteriorated due to the lack of medical facilities and services, leaving her unable to move or speak properly. She urgently requires medical attention, including surgery on her eye. Both Rita and Kenan are suffering daily from the fear of their lives, due to the continued bombings and the uncertainty of their future.

As parents, we are heartbroken to see the circumstances our children are growing up in, as well as the hardship of experiencing a lack of food and no medical attention. Myself and Aya are very scared for the situation we are in and for our family's future. We don't see any other option other than evacuating from Gaza.

The cost of a safer life and medical treatment for our family and Rita is beyond our means. The evacuation fees to Egypt are a total of £15,000 for travel expenses alone. Each adult fare is £5,000, while for non-adults is £2,500. Our lives have been upended, and all we seek is the opportunity to travel for Rita's treatment and escape the dire circumstances we face in Gaza. The additional £5,000 will cover our initial life expenses (food, shelter, and medication) in Egypt, while I find a job to support my family.

I appeal to you, my friends, and everyone who reads these words, to lend us your support. Your contributions will help us travel for the safety of our whole family and Rita's treatment. Please share our campaign widely to gather support and help me to provide a safer life for my wife and my children.
