Our brother Marvin Cruz (43 year old) a Canadian citizen, who resides in Surrey BC was away in Idaho for work for a day, when he had a brain hemorrhage on September 16th 2025.

Thanks to his wife who was on the phone with him; recognized the symptoms and called an ambulance right away, Marvin was taken to St Luke’s meridian medical centre immediately.

Although, we are thankful to the USA for rushing him to the hospital and providing the immediate care he needed in order to save his life, Marvin needs to get transferred back to a hospital in Vancouver as soon as possible and continue getting the care he needs and be close to his family where they can see him. In god we trust that he will fully recover.

Unfortunately, Marvin like many others does not have insurance. He is by himself in the hospital without his loved ones and does not know anybody. His wife and kids need to see him and be able to hold his hands to reassure him everything will be okay. He needs to hear they are there with him during this difficult time. Marvin is such a family man that we believe that hearing them and feeling their hands will give him the strength to continue fighting for his full recovery.

Marvin- is the sole provider for his family of 8. The youngest baby is only 5 days old.

The cost of being in a hospital in the United States is $16,000 USD per day and to have him transferred to Vancouver, they are asking $20,000 USD. At this point alone, the bill is already at $84, 000 USD and it continues to increase each day he stays there.

Our goal is to raise 200,000 to help cover the costs of bringing him back to Vancouver general hospital, the hospital bill in Idaho and to help the family with rent, food and the essential necessities. This financial support will release the financial burden off his back and he can focus all his energy to reach a full recovery.
