Due to your generosity, we were able to go to the site of her disappearance last week and find clues that may lead to finding her.

We were heartbroken that the sheriff’s office had not started the investigation of the disappearance of my mom. They are short staffed and under funded. Time being of critical essence, we took it on ourselves to investigate on our own.

We were able to locate and speak with people connected to Lynne’s disappearance with the kind assistance of some locals. We were able to trace her abandoned vehicle. We notice that her belongings have been taken from her truck. Her truck was left in a remote area with hazardous driving conditions. It seems dangerous and very unlikely that she would have driven here on her own.

While searching nearby area of her truck, we came across what was determined to be mountain lion droppings that contained clothing and blonde human hair. The evidences were given to the sheriffs for DNA testing.

The sheriffs searched for clues with cadaver dogs and CSI team after we provided them with our findings. We are still awaiting word on the search efforts from the sheriff’s office. The sheriffs were very appreciative of our efforts.

Sadly, Lynne’s home has been pillaged and squatters have taken shelter.

Our plan is to go back to Happy Camp to continue our efforts to search for my mom, take repossession of her home. We refused to give up hope.

We are desperately in need of your continued support in hopes of hiring private investigator, search and rescue team, and reward for assistance of finding Lynne Siewert. Hi, my name is Alyssa Siewert and I am asking for your help in the efforts to find and bring my mother Lynne Smethurst Siewert home. As many of you know my mother has been missing in Northern California and my aunt and I are raising funds to get us there so we can search and investigate and also help the police in their efforts to search for my mom. There are currently no leads to her whereabouts.

Lynne is deeply loved and missed . Lynne is a mother of 4 and has 2 granddaughters and our family is absolutely distraught over her disappearance. I am a single mom of two and do not have the ability on my own to make it to the location she was last seen and where her vehicle was recovered from. I live in Southern California. I am asking you from the bottom of my heart if you could find it in your heart for a donation big or small to help find my mom. I am determined to do all we can to find her. We are not able to financially support all that is needed to find her. If we could have search and rescue dogs, private detective that can investigate fulltime. Time is of essence; we need to find her fast.

We are planning to go door to door and look everywhere we can in hopes of locating my mother. Our plan is to leave on May 22 and return with my mother.
