Hi my name is Shawn Byom and I am hosting a gofundme on behalf of Deb Dillow and her 145 lb mastiff. THREE weeks ago, on November 25, Deb’s dog Lady got away from her handler, while she was at her sister’s funeral. Despite dozens of people searching for her in person and via drones, we have not been able to bring her home. There have been MULTIPLE sightings of her from Waukee to Adel and Van Meter in the past three and a half weeks, but when anyone gets close, she runs. Her last sighting was December 20th off of R and the Van Meter exit, miles from her home. The length of time that she has been missing, the cold weather that is approaching, and the service that Lady provides to Deb, we need her home immediately. We are starting a gofundme so that we can hire a professional tracker and we can rent thermal drones which are approximately $200 a day. Anything that we can do to help contribute to bringing this sweet girl home would be very much appreciated. If she ends up being located before we can secure a tracker or other professionals, the remaining money collected will be used for veterinary care, chipping, and/or tracking devices. We Will also be donating to an organization that supports the rescue of animals. Please help and share if you can! Let’s bring her home for Christmas!
