Hola, mi nombre es Janetza, soy la esposa de Jesús.

Es muy difícil para mí escribir esto en uno de los momentos más dolorosos e inesperados de nuestra vida.

Mi esposo Jesús, de 43 años y padre de nuestros tres hijos, fue detenido por ICE el miércoles 8 de abril, el no tiene ningún antecedente penal. Desde ese día, nuestra vida cambió por completo.

Jesús es un padre amoroso un hombre trabajador el pilar y el sustento de nuestro hogar, su ausencia ha dejado a nuestra familia en un profundo dolor emocional. Nuestros hijos están tratando de entender lo que está pasando, mientras enfrentamos esta incertidumbre con mucha angustia.

Esta situación fue totalmente inesperada, y los gastos legales que ahora enfrentamos no estaban previstos de ninguna manera. Son costos urgentes que superan los fondos de emergencia que teníamos como familia para situaciones imprevistas.

Con mucha humildad, estamos pidiendo apoyo para cubrir únicamente los gastos legales de su caso, que en este momento son nuestra mayor y más urgente necesidad.

Nuestra meta es de $20,000.00 para poder afrontar este proceso legal y brindarle la defensa que merece.

Somos parte de la comunidad venezolana con más de 12 años en el estado de la Florida, y nunca imaginamos estar viviendo una situación como esta. Hoy acudimos a la solidaridad de quienes puedan ayudarnos.

Hello, my name is Janetza, and I am Jesús’s wife.

It is incredibly difficult for me to write this during one of the most painful and unexpected moments of our lives.

My husband, Jesús 43 years old and the father of our three children was detained by ICE on Wednesday, April 8th. He has absolutely no criminal record. Since that day, our lives have changed completely.

Jesús is a loving father, a hardworking man, and the pillar and provider of our home; his absence has left our family in deep emotional anguish. Our children are struggling to understand what is happening, while we face this uncertainty with immense distress.

This situation was entirely unexpected, and the legal expenses we now face were in no way anticipated. These are urgent costs that far exceed the emergency funds our family had set aside for unforeseen circumstances.

With deep humility, we are asking for support to cover solely the legal fees for his case which, at this moment, represent our greatest and most urgent need.

Our goal is $20,000.00 so that we can navigate this legal process and provide him with the defense he deserves.

We are members of the Venezuelan community and have lived in Florida for over 12 years; we never imagined we would find ourselves in a situation like this. Today, we turn to the kindness and solidarity of those who are able to help us.
