Hi everyone,
My sister Melanie and I , Melissa need your help to bring her dog Coco to me in Canada.
They rescued Coco from Paws and Claws in Saudi Arabia when she was approx. 6 months old. Coco was rescued from a home that left her outside in 50 deg Celsius desert heat. She has a lot of trauma but my sister and her husband slowly brought her out of her shell. She is however still afraid of plastic bags , boxes and females in long dark dresses. She will soil herself if she’s around these. That’s how traumatized she is. We think she may have been abused by a female.
Coco is now approx 4 years old. The reason why Melanie had to let her go is because my brother in law has a disease called Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy ( CAA ). His brain will bleed. It happened a few times but every time, he will bounce back. This time, because of how massive the bleed was, he needed brain surgery and is in a coma. He is showing improvement but they will need a lot of care. Because he won’t be able to work in Saudi anymore, they have to move back to Germany. Coco cannot go because she will not get the care that she needs. That’s why my sister made the difficult decision to let Coco come to me. They have 3 adopted cats , all rescued from horrible conditions. One was left blind because her owner will not spend money to fix her infected eyes. All 3 cats will go to Germany with Melanie because they are more independent.
I will care and love Coco with my whole heart. I just lost my soulmate July 23rd.
It is a 17 hour flight not including customs for Coco to come to Canada from Riyadh. We found a company that will handle her travel. This company will fly via Lufthansa that will take care of live animals in transit. We only want the best service for Coco to ensure her safety. It is not her fault that her life is changing.
The cost of her shipping is just over CAD 7K. We are hoping to get some help for just half of the amount. No matter what, Coco will come to me because I will ensure her safety and she will be loved in my house.
I understand times are tough for everyone, if you cannot help in funds it is really ok but please help share our plight and please pray for Coco’s safety in the plane.
