My mother has passed away on Thursday, May 4, after a lengthy illness. I'm very grateful that she is no longer suffering, and I loved her so very much. I do not have any available funds to cremate her or handle the personal effects of her estate, and I am still also facing eviction at the end of this month. My husband Douglass was the victim of
a random murder, as he was shot in the head at 10:07am in front of my home on September 30, 2018, as he was walking our dogs. The responsible party was never found and I did my very best to handle everything in regards of rent and bills afterwards, however Covid arrived and I lost both my income in 2020 as well as his at the time of his death.
While I am working now and have been for several months, because of inflation and the current economic situation, I cannot afford to pay my rent along with my bills and am being threatened with eviction after owing six months of back rent. I'm beyond grateful for any assistance and help, which I will forever thank all of you for, and I'm praying to not be evicted if at all possible.
