Please Help Brian Nevins recover!

I am reaching out to ask for help for an amazing person and friend, Brian Nevins. Brian has worked for me for 13 years, and in addition, has become an amazing friend.
Early last year, however, Brian began suffering from a condition called foraminal narrowing. This is a degenerative condition where openings along the spine where the nerves exit the spinal cord begin to close gradually around the nerve. Over a period of several months he started to experience pain that would range from a constant mild discomfort to crippling pain that accompanied any attempt he made to move. More and more there would be mornings where I would receive a call from him telling me that he was unable to get to his car and that he was really sorry he couldn't make it in to work. The pain continued to worsen and reached the point where one sudden onset was so severe he passed pass out from the shock. He began to miss more and more days at work. This lack of work, coupled with medical bills, became unmanageable. Living paycheck to paycheck became the best-case scenario as bills started becoming due more and more before money could reach his account.
Since this, Brian has not been able to financially recover, and to make matters worse, his dire situation started to take a mental toll. Brian has no shame in letting you all know he takes medication for depression, and he was forced to up his medication, which had complications and made working nearly impossible.
Brian is currently unable to work and is now in a position where he may lose his home if nothing is done. In his situation, this would be a blow that would be difficult to recover from. I am asking friends and relatives for any help they can lend to try to get Brian back on his feet and keep him in his apartment until he can recover enough to get back to work or file a disability claim.
Brian is one of the most intelligent, empathetic, compassionate, and talented, not to mention hardworking, people I know. Please consider donating anything you can.
Your love and support are much appreciated.
Sincerely,
