Hello. My name is Chris Imig McNeff, and I am asking you to help my dear friend Brent Welch as he heals from a second round of surgeries for a brain aneurysm. Brent’s initial surgery a year ago led to a second procedure due to complications. Following 12 months of monitoring it was determined that the stent was not adequately controlling Brent’s aneurysm and a third surgery would be required on 1/16/2024. Sadly his body rejected the new stent and 2 coils had to be used instead. The hope is that the coils will clot and heal, but the probability of another procedure is high.

These procedures have caused Brent to miss an awful lot of work. With the medical bills coming in, and the dramatic reduction in pay, the financial stress is taking a huge toll. I worry about all of this having a negative impact on his healing.

As I’m sure you all know, Brent is a giver. He freely shares his talents, his time and his passions. He is a runner, and he has participated in multiple marathons while raising money for other causes. Brent’s profession is serving adults with developmental disabilities. When he is not on the clock he continues to serve family and friends whenever the need arises.
