My beloved aunt Brenda had a stroke while at home alone last week. She is currently hospitalized in a rehab unit and will need to go home with round-the-clock care for a while. And though she works for the school district as an aide to children with disabilities, her salary will not give her much of a disability payment each month. Her family and friends are pitching in and taking turns with the at-home care, but her expenses will still outnumber her income.
