Hello, My name is Brandi and my husband’s name is Robert, We also have a dog named Mowgli.

I started having lower back pain at the beginning of 2025. As the year went on my pain progressively got worse. I work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a hospital in a small town. I started having to go to specialists for my back pain in August of 2025. I went through a lot of testing, injections, Dr appointments. Due to not getting any relief I went on medical leave in January of 2026. Even with resting the pain and stability issues continued to get worse. Unfortunately with missing work and then going on medical leave bills have become very difficult to pay. Gas prices have also increased significantly. Due to living in a small town all of my specialists have been at least 45+ miles commute each direction. We have received some help from friends and family, which we GREATLY appreciate. I just received a surgery date for May 19th which will be performed around 100 miles from where we live. We have had a very difficult time asking for help during this time. We realized that we have used the maximum amount of resources that we have been offered. This has been a long journey and we still have quite a bit of time to go. We are trying to ask for some financial help due to still having bills, gas money for appointments also for Robert to be able to travel from home to where I will be having surgery and then back home due to having our dog. We have been told I will at least be in the hospital recovering for 3+ days after surgery. We are still needing to come up with things that will also be needed after surgery such as a shower chair etc. Food, just some necessities. We hate asking but we would greatly appreciate any help that we could get to help us through the last bit of this journey. We understand that everyone does have bills, family, and tough times themselves. If you are not able to donate we completely understand. Please do not feel obligated.
