Please Help Boo Parker

Hi, my name is Chloe, and I have a 12 year old kitty named Boo Parker! 12 years ago when I was 12 my older sister was walking our dog and she found this cat in a drain all alone. She came home with this tiny orange tabby put her on my bed and said "Don't tell mom!" That was the day she joined our family and I became a cat mom. Over the years she helped me get through just about everything in my life from family deaths, heartbreaks, and other lost pets. Boo Parker is my fiancé and I's pride and joy and we truly treat her like she's our baby. And last week we didn't know if we were going to lose our fur baby...
Last week after returning home early from a trip, my fiancé and I noticed she had difficulty breathing so we immediately rushed Boo Parker to the vet where we got some pretty devastating news. The vet told us that Boo was suffocating due to there being fluid in her chest around the heart & lungs plus she had more fluid around her right kidney... The first vet's preliminary findings were this is a cancerous process based on the Xray and her kidney values and the cancer has most likely spread around her body; and she might not last another week or even a day, so we should consider euthanasia... We were in shambles; it felt like our whole world came crashing down in 1 hour. We knew we needed to give Boo a chance to fight and we were determined to not give up on her and to not give up on hope. So in turn, we made the decision to transfer her to a level one animal hospital which could do more rigorous testing and provide the intensive care that she would to survive. We arrived at the ICU and Boo Parker was immediately rushed back in critical condition so they could start a chest tap to remove over 4 oz of fluid around her heart and lungs. They also discovered her left kidney is the size of a raisin and the right kidney is swollen fighting an infection. The ICU vets didn't even know if she was going to last through the night, so we were praying for a miracle...
We're now on day #6 in ICU still kicking! After a multitude of tests and procedures, the vets were able to confirm it is not cancer (lymphoma, leukemia) or a blood clot. She is still suffering from pleural effusion (fluid buildup in chest) but that's only due to her kidney infection. It felt like our prayers were answered for the best case scenario! Just 6 days ago we were told to consider euthanasia but we knew we needed to give her a chance and it looks like it payed off! Once she's home, we will have to continue treatment and we will help her adjust to life with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. We were one of the lucky ones and we wouldn't change a single decisions. The vet bills are very high and are continuing to pile up, so we're asking for some help with the $10k+ ICU bill as well as the after care treatment.
