Please help Bob Beat His 2nd round of Face Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sheila. I am raising funds for my father, Bob Moody. My dad is on his 2nd reoccurrence of Facial Cancer (tumor). He is currently in the hospital after having a 10.5hour + surgery to remove the large, cancerous tumor on the side of his face that regrew and went into his jawbone, shortly after having 30 rounds of radiation. They also operated on his eye for the 3rd time due to severe pain/burning sensations, blurry vision and constant watering/seepage from the tumor interfering with his nerve endings and not allowing for his eye to open/close. His mouth was also operated on due to paralysis from nerve damage and fusing, making it difficult to eat, drink or talk. The “pouch” on the right side of his face is actually skin grafting that was put into place from removing skin from 3 areas including his chest and leg. He will have to have several more visits to monitor and “shave down” the skin that they used to fill the hole that was left on the side of his face and jawline. Currently, the doctors are not yet certain if they got all the cancer or if it will return. At this point, Bob will need additional surgery on his mouth and possibly on his eye depending on the outcome. The money will be used for home care, out of pocket medical costs, traveling/lodging expenses and dietary needs. For those of you that know my dad, may know that he is and has been, in constant pain for years due to his 2 botched total knee replacements, steel rods in his hand and arthritis throughout his entire body. We will be grateful to any amount that will help my parents at this time and I am appreciative that you took the time to read our story. Thank you and God Bless.
