Please help Bill Carlson survive

Hello.

My dear friend, Bill, is in crisis and needs a hand. After a lifetime of struggle with recovering from trauma and mental illness, he has had a particularly difficult few years, and has lost so much … job, health, family, friends, etc. Without an adequate safety net in Washington, he moved to Michigan in the hopes that family there could provide some support. His very survival has been hanging by a thread for so long.

On top of that, he was just denied disability benefits. He is disabled and cannot work (he recently tried and was forced to deal with increased symptoms that made his life hell). The appeal process will take around 7 months; in the meantime, he needs to find a way to live.

Bill is a special person; deeply sensitive, deeply caring, an artist (his rock-balance art is like nothing I’ve ever seen!). Whenever he has a few days of feeling better, he turns his attention to service. His thriving makes the world a better place.

As both Bill and I are aware of the great need and suffering that exists right now for so many, it is with humility that this ask is made. Please help my friend, Bill, by donating any amount you are able (no matter how small … even a few dollars would help!).
