Please Help Bill and Dianne Miller

Our wonderful friends Bill and Dianne Miller need our help. While on a road trip in Texas, they both got very sick. On June 15, while trying to drive back home to Colorado Springs, they ended up in an emergency room and were tested positive for Covid and pneumonia. Dianne’s case turned out to be milder, but Bill was admitted to ICU at Baptist St. Anthony Hospital In Amarillo. He has been in a coma since shortly after being admitted, and on June 22, Bill was intubated. He is in extremely serious condition.

Dianne has been staying at a hotel near the hospital and is allowed to see Bill 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night. Their sons have alternated visits to help, and several friends from New Life Church where Bill and Dianne attend have driven down to assist as well.

The Miller’s need our help in two major ways:

1. Pray urgently:

For Dianne’s healing and strength—body, soul, and spirit.

For Bill’s healing:

in his lungs (pulmonary fibrosis);

against infections, blood clots, and pneumonia;

and that his heart will remain strong.

2. Give financially. Assisting with some of major expenses they are incurring during this desperate time would be a way we could help ease the burden.

Dianne says that just before they intubated Bill, he said, “My life is in God’s hands.” Dianne continues to sing praise songs and to tell Bill how much he is loved and prayed for.
