Please help Belle get lifesaving surgery

Hello - my name is Beth. I am raising funds for my 8 year old grandpup Belle to get the lifesaving surgery that she needs.

Belle was attacked on the evening of November 25th by a husky, resulting in a puncture wound that caused Pneumothorax (Pneumothorax in dogs is a condition where air or gas accumulates in the space between the lungs and the chest wall, causing a collapse of the lung) and broken ribs. We immediately rushed her to the ER Veterinarian where she was treated and transferred to Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. She had a procedure overnight to flush the wound, and has a drainage tube directly into her heart. Biding time for us to collect enough funds for her to have the lifesaving surgery that she needs. The estimate for the surgery is between $11,195.00 to $17,165.00. If we can not come up with the funds for the surgery, we will have to euthanize her.

Belle is the sweetest and most beautiful tiny little Dachshund. The absolute light of my daughter's life, and her emotional support pet. These two are inseparable and share such a special bond. Belle is - in all sense of the word - my daughters child.

She seeks out the person in the room that needs her most and sits in there lap and loves them. She’s adventurous and outgoing… she has kept many babies warm snuggling them at nap time.. she’s been my favorite part about life for over 8 years. She’s kept me alive when my depression gets dark, emotionally carried me through my miscarriages, and she has touched the hearts of many many people. She really is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s not her time. Other than the bite wound she was perfectly healthy.

We have wiped out all our checking accounts, maxed our credit cards, and care credit.

This is kind of our last hope.
